No, no, you didn't hurt my feelings! I just think it's a shame some people gave up on the story after ten pages - it's like 150. I don't think any of my characters are the same person as they were on page one, but I also think that some of the younger generation has some good answers for things we may feel are a step too far - or definitely were at our age.
I don't know., Maybe I'm rambling, too.

Waiting for the answer to the question, “How is Dabeagle going to redeem this character?” is, for the moment, what's keeping me going on this story. Frankly, what Hunter is doing, both with his videos and his sugar-daddying, is not healthy behavior, psychologically speaking. But chapter three appears to suggest there are elements of a more caring and sensitive person lurking under the superficiality and poor decision-making exterior: seeing Gary's wife and children in person, rather than as an abstract concept he could rationalize away, rather turns Hunter's stomach. I'd be more concerned about his sister she is far more vapid and self serving. Literally only seeing other people as sex objects and simply as an outlet for her sexual gratification is about as unhealthy as it can get. And she has no shame, pretty much flaunting it in public.

I find that interesting. Again, there are reasons for why she does what she does. It's part of dropping in on characters at a certain point in their lives - they have been around and have reasons for the things they do, and the longer we get to know them the more we understand them.

I'm liking the story, especially Kari and Issac's appearances. My favorite sentence which I can identify with is "I'm like, if I even look at his plate I feel myself gaining enough mass to crack the sidewalk." I will now update from my old cliche "If I look at a picture of food I gain 10 lbs."
Keep up the good work and thanks again.

Hunter is growing on me, but Andy, with that crack about Brett was just cruel.

Chapter 5. Is this the same Maddy that Cam showed the door to in his SS story? What a cunt.

Another great chapter. I'm liking Caleb a lot. He seems quick witted. “Then it's more of a 'Sorry that happened' and less a birthday gift.”
I can't wait for more.

I agree with Neal. I'm liking Caleb a lot too. Social awkwardness is a real thing and can lead to a very lonely life for the sufferer. Glad to see that Hunter is growing and starting to see people in a different way than he did earlier in the story. Looking forward to more.

I'm personally glad to see Hunter growing on people. Traditionally my characters have to go on a journey, and frequently part of that journey is as a person rather than just going from point A to B. Unfortunately, the reader may never grow to love Hunter because...well, he thinks differently than my audience does. Differently enough that I think it's harder to relate to him - what do you guys think?

I think, in hindsight, what I meant was: I wish I had a Caleb.
