Woah! Vindication (Of Sorts) I agree that the story fits nicely into the Sanitaria Springs universe. Don't we need some soccer guys in town? John

I'll discuss it, but I think it's doubtful, considering no SS references were made either to the town or any of the existing characters. Only my mistake made anyone think it was an SS story.

On thinking further in reference to the story, it seems like the story took place further south than New York, especially with regard to the swimming pools. I know, here in southwest Missouri, we have had as much as 12 inches of snow on the ground at one time in October (though very rarely). But with heated pools, it could still be possible.
Didn't either Robin or Kale play soccer?

Well, about 5 years after the previous comment, the guys in The Facilitator have been established in the Binghamton Group of the Sanitaria Springs stories, since they are connected to "The Right One" group of stories, and those firmly cross over into the SS stories. So how about another story in which The Facilitator characters, or at least a couple of them, have a reason to either visit Sanitaria Springs OR run into run into Robin and Lucien or Devyn and Griffin up near RPI?
Or, another story where The Facilitator characters have another Binghamton adventure? I miss those guys!

It may be a possibility, if I can think of a decent story line. Currently I'm working on a story that, as it ended up happening, is set in the Binghamton area and tangentially involves two SS characters - Eric, first seen in Wounded Reindeer, and Ashley, the closeted boy Bellamy gives up on who we never met. Other touchstones like Flubberbusters also appear. Though not specifically written as an SS story, I think ti's nearing a conclusion. It currently weighs in at 95k words and 199 pages, and isn't finished yet. I will post it to Patreon as an SS universe story and it will be available for read-ahead as well as post twice a week, I think, to help distract and entertain during this strange time we find ourselves in. A thread for SS ideas that people would like to see might be in order to help move tings along - story ideas and discussion about them fuel my imagination.

I'm sad as I read this thread just now. I missed it when it was started, I think, and I noticed it had recent posts and read it just now...
...and it makes me sad to think that two of the posters are no longer with us. I know that's the way life as a human goes; it just made me sad to see their posts and realize they cannot rejoin the current conversation.
