For a while I've been saying I need to lose a little weight, and I've finally started. Today is day one and my goal this year is to lose 60lbs. My starting weight is 249. I have a 30 day flat stomach routine to couple with walking at the Y before I move to anything more strenuous - I don't want to have a heart attack trying to get healthy. I'll do a little more each day. In case anyone is interested, here's my 30 day chart at the bottom. I'm putting more fiber in my diet, cutting off food after 9pm and drinking three to four glasses of water a day. I'll check in once a week to update who ever watches on my progress.

Two weeks in and no change yet. Did some walking last week, will add more this week. Looks like I get to snow shovel, too.

I started sooner than January.
I'm down 30 pounds since August.
I hit the gym 3 times a week.
It's not that hard and... I've had some adventures and made some pals there.

I'll cheer for you, James. You were very supportive when I made a couple of posts elsewhere regarding my struggles, to which I now must also add my weight. I'm trying a similar program. But need to lose close to 100 pounds (I'm 6'3 and right at 300). My ideal is in the 205 - 220 range. But I'm doing well in the other fight, so I'm sure I can do this as well!
