The horn button looks legit but, pre airbags.  The handcuffs are probably owner installed as is the gear shift knob. |

The splinters are bad enough, but can you imagine being impaled in an accident? I guess I'm getting old - I liked the VW GTI 'golf ball' shift knob, but they have really gotten out of whack with what they'll put in place of a shift knob.

I can't quite picture how you steer with that thing - it looks like the "handles" would have to pass through any leg that's extended to reach the pedals. That may be why the default position has two handles oriented straight up and down. My first thought on safety was that in an accident that top handle is perfectly placed to remove the center teeth as the driver's face impacts the steering wheel. Probably do a good job of reconfiguring the nose, too. I think I'd be reluctant to drive it at more than two or three mph.
