Good story, Dave. You made me even care a little bit about soccer, and all I really know about the game is that is big in much of the rest of the world, that it is played with a round ball that usually is black and white, and that hands are not normally used on the ball except in special circumstances.
How do you pronounce Leighton's name and nickname? I have heard it pronounced LAY-ton and LEE-ton and LIE-ton, and Leigh as Lee and Lay.
There are a lot of guys like Jerry in the world, and Lyle as well. Also too many like Royce.
Overall, a very good story. I like the careful differentiation between compliments of the physical attributes of a guy and caring touch. I don't want too say too much, in case some haven't yet read the story, but I can certainly recommend this one.

I know a couple people with that name, gay and gal. It's Lay-ton.
There were soccer references in this? I was entranced by the story.

Yeah Dave, clear up those names for us, won't you?

Ryan only says that because he hated all the names I used. I only changed one - Chris's name was originally Val, but I don't think he likes Chris, either.
In my head it's 'Lee-ton, Lee for short'.

I bet the bookstore in Sanitaria Springs never sells a copy of the most popular baby names.
I really like these guys. I'd love to joke around with Leighton, and spend time snuggled up with Chris. Where do you meet guys like that, anyway?

I liked the story, and the characters too. I hope they become regulars. Are there plans to fit them into the regular story arc?

Uh guys, this isn't a Sanitaria Springs story.

Facilitator is a stand alone, it has no SS connection - though I toyed with it when I wrote it.

Check the subtitle you included when you posted the story: It clearly states: The Facilitator : A Sanitaria Springs Story.
You may not have intended it, but it's too late to back out, now... . You have to satisfy your readers, now.

It does not seem like a regular Sanitaria Springs Story, but it came out on Sanitaria Sunday--
AND, right under the title it says: A Sanitaria Springs Story So, it seems reasonable to think of it as a Sanitaria Springs story. So, if indeed it is NOT a Sanitaria Springs story, that part might need to be taken out from under the title. If not, it might be part of the "Port Crane" series, or the "Fenton Series," or whatever new series it is a part of. I will consider it Sanitaria Springs until Dabeagle tells me otherwise.

Well, shit.
I use templates for creating chapters so the code doesn't have to be re-created each time. That subtitle, clearly, slipped past me. You got me! I'll fix it.
