It's good to see this story has arrived. Ryan was certain this would be his own key to some amount of fame and financial success in the gay writing world, which is why the title is so poignant to me. Good story. I had the opportunity to read it months ago, and I recommend it to anyone, either those familiar with Ryan's work or not.

Yes, Ryan had hoped to have this accepted for publishing. Amusingly enough he told me 'If I get published, I'll be impossible to live with.' He felt it would validate him and his writing - posting it is the best way I can think to honor him and his writing, to show the world what he'd done.

I loved the first chapter. Ryan could always tell a good story!
How frequently will updates be posted? I'm looking forward to more.

Very glad to see Chapters 2 and 3 up today. Read them very quickly, and then again.
Dave? How many chapters of the story are there in total?

While I certainly regret that Ryan is no longer with us, I am definitely enjoying the story. I agree with you, Cynus, that it is well worth reading.

Great story continues. Just finished Chapter 11. Not the expected result, but I certainly liked the brief humor after the first part of the tournament.

I'm really enjoying this one. It's just sad that Ryan's not here to hear all the good things about it. There have been so many things that came up in this story that I wanted to ask Ryan about.
I didn't realize that Ryan was a YouTuber fan. I've kind of gotten away from it lately, but I used to be subscribed to about 90 youtubers' channels. Judging by some of the things in the story, I bet Ryan was subscribed to some of the same ones I was. In chapter 13, Ryan introduces Kevin Wilder. I'm assuming that's just a character name, but I wonder if he's based on a real YouTuber? If I had to guess, I'd say it was Tyler Oakley.
Great story! Like most of Ryan's stories, I'm going to hate to see this one end.

Ryan told me he did some research on the You Tube guys and the convention type things they attend to meet subscribers and fans. He spent a lot of time on You Tube and I'm sure some of them influenced him.
