In my wanderings around the Internet story posting sites, I came across on IOMfAtS some of the stories of an author who goes by "Ricky" in his postings. See below for IOMfAtS links.
iomfats.org/poetrycorner/poets/ricky/ and iomfats.org/storyshelf/hosted/ricky/index.html
Then I ran across his stories also on Gay Authors at www.gayauthors.org/author/ricky as well.
I am just starting to read some of his longer stuff, but I certainly recommend the short stories "A New Trek" and "Charged Revelations" to you.
His poetry, "Throwaway Boy" on IOMfAtS, is listed on Gay Authors as "The Throw Away Boy." The writing in that poem, the longing, the near-hopelessness-- I am reminded of the writing in many of David Lee's stories on Nifty. David Lee also has a heart for boys who have been thrown out for being gay or bi.
David Lee's stories can be accessed on Nifty at:
www.nifty.org/nifty/frauthors.html and then scroll down to David Lee on the left, and click on his name. I have listed short stories with quote marks, and novels in italics.
David Lee's stories who feature one of more homeless characters include [and sometimes they are not homeless very long]: Always and Forever; "Of Angels and Dragons"; The Metamorphosis of Jeremiah Long; "Patrick's Christmas"; Second Chance; "A Technological Christmas"; Unexpected Guest; and "Wyatt's Thanksgiving." (The two main characters of "Wyatt's Thanksgiving" cross over into the novel The Metamorphosis of Jeremiah Long in several of its chapters.) Homelessness is a major theme in Second Chance, "Patrick's Christmas," "A Technological Christmas," "Wyatt's Thanksgiving," and Metamorphosis.
I would especially recommend the stories of Ricky to be considered for inclusion on Dabeagle.com at some future time. Some of David Lee's stories skew too old for this board. especially "Patrick's Christmas" and "A Technological Christmas."
