Dabeagle (And anyone else along the east coast.) I hope everyone is safe and warm. I'm watching reports from the east and it looks terrifying. If I lived there I'd hunker down and not go anywhere until the snowplow found the pavement. I don't know what the south is going to do. My family is from eastern Kentucky. They're not equipped to handle this kind of snow. It looks like Winter saved up and brought everything at once. John

I'm just glad it's not Michigan for a change. Last year was so bad that Boston was dumping snow in the ocean because there was no more room for it.

The storm was to the south of us, we got nothing. I'm not complaining, it's been very cold. We managed to arrange a respite this weekend, sending our foster to another family for the weekend and my mother and my son's natural aunt split the time having him so my husband and I could get a break. We were thinking of going to the movies or having a meal out, but instead we simply hunkered down and stayed home to try and recharge. All safe, here, just a little cold. I hope the readers are faring okay out there!

I was going to start a new thread but I spotted this one to hang this onto. The latest weather report (10/26/2016) is calling for 3 to 6 inches of snow between now and Friday for the Sanitaria Springs region in upper New York State. Woo Hoo! Get those shovels out, boys! Power outages and travel delays are expected, so it looks like no school. Stand by for Lake Effect snow!

I have a Jeep. It laughs at snow.
