Cynus and Dave, considering this story takes place with no mention of Royce's suicide, the timeline of this story must start start before Royce hung himself. After all, near the top of the story it says it was a month after Royce got arrested. I am eager to see how Royce figures into the upcoming story arc. Considering that in Nevermore Royce is on his third attorney, and that Lu and Robin found Griffin in the winter in a ditch, and that summer came and we read Found Family Camp, then school started again in the fall in Bus Boys, it makes one wonder if Foster continues the trend started before he and Seth got back together, or is there was a stitch/glitch in the timeline.
How about the story of when Seth sees Grayson at the coffee shop next? And the story of tongues wagging when Foster and Seth come back to school as boyfriends? Are Drew and Jace going to go after Foster as they did Grayson? Where do Jamie Kirkwood, Derek, and Austin come into the Seth/Logan/Grayson (and now Foster) storyline again? Does Gary Whitmore coach any sports at Columbia High in addition to basketball? Now, one story on each of those questions, and you have several Sundays of Sanitaria Springs covered! LOL.

I will do my best to answer the timeline question clearly, though I won't address the future quite yet, as it's currently in production. Dave and I chatted recently about how I could address a problem I saw in the Seth/Logan/Grayson story line. Whether it was a problem to other people or not is a different matter entirely, but I once went a direction with them I hadn't planned on simply because one of my beta readers convinced me it was the right thing to do. I haven't felt good about it this whole time, but it was a difficult thing to change as it was canon. Foster was the result of that conversation, and Dave wrote him into Nevermore, knowing I was going to use him. Unfortunately, this created a different problem I hadn't accounted for. Originally Seth was going to approach Foster after Royce's death, and in fact, Cravings was originally written at that point in the timeline. Then I realized "Nevermore" takes place 9 months after the point where Seth, Logan, and Grayson had their last story. Unless I wanted to ignore Foster for 9 months, I had to come up with a way to make things happen much sooner. I made some adjustments to the Cravings story line, and placed it at soon after Royce's arrest instead. So, if "Nevermore" is NOW, then "Cravings" took place 8-9 months ago, while Jamie, Sean, Seth, Logan, and Grayson were all still freshmen. There will be an entire story arc which brings Seth, Foster, Logan, and Grayson up to speed with the others.

Thank you for clearing that up, Samuel-- at least the timeline issue.
At least that gives you plenty of stories to write-- AND I like that you are filling in some of the gaps in the "canon" timeline with views from a different set of lenses.
Perhaps, in the part of the timeline after "Found Family Camp," you might consider having Philip Ashmore counseling with Coach Gary Whitmore somehow? Between Griff and Devyn, Jamie, Sterling, and Coach Whitmore, who knows what might happen?

Cravings was placed on the SS page in it's chronological order. If you ever wonder where something belongs on the time line, refer to the SS page - and later, to the SS wiki page when it's complete.

I can report that Samuel is hard at work and teasing me; there fore it's only fair to tease you, as well. The companion to Cravings, from Grayson and Logan's perspective, will post Sunday.

I need fuel for my fire. Gimme gimme.
Hey, we already got several possibly extra stories that might not have happened if Cynus hadn't been compelled to create a whole three-way relationship, and then explain it away, again... That should be lots of extra fuel for you.
I did notice one other thing that didn't seem to quite add up: Seth says that the attack from Billy Carlisle was four years ago, but in 'Strays' it says Seth was twelve at the time, and he's only fourteen, maybe fifteen now, if we go with his age as stated when the school year started. So, somewhere Seth has gained a year, ... Looks like there's more than one stitch/glitch in the timeline. Maybe Seth has superpowers since he is so good at being the ultimate best friend.

Well damn . . . I know what that's a result of, but unfortunately I didn't catch that glitch. You see, when I originally wrote "Cravings", I started it as a contemporary piece to Nevermore, which would have put it roughly nine months later than where it is in the timeline now, and Seth would have been sixteen. Then I realized I'd be leaving a giant hole between "Newborn Baristas" and "Cravings", and I wouldn't be able to explain that away very easily. Unfortunately, some of that thought process of Seth still being sixteen stuck around and must have translated into this story. I apologize. Maybe think of it as four years ago in the calendar? Because Seth does turn sixteen this year . . . maybe that will work.

Maybe... What really appealed to me the most is how quickly and easily Seth was just able to slip into a committed relationship with Foster. I would have loved to have something like that, more than anything else, back in high school...

Seth has been looking for the place where he fits in for a long time, and Foster simply felt right. It was the only right answer, and I've always felt that Seth's best attribute is his pragmatism.
