Just Finished "The Seagull 2." I hope Pedro will allow us a glimpse things in Sheffield from time to time, or even a follow up called "The Tourists" (plural), where Lukas and Peter visit Sanitaria Springs again briefly. Seagull and Seagull 2 were both good stories, perhaps more thoughtful in some ways, since older characters than usual were involved.
Way to go, Pedro!

It's amazing to me, the depth and breadth of creativity, imagination, and storytelling that has taken place within the Sanitaria Springs Universe. Good job, Pedro, for both of the Seagull pieces.

Thank you, guys, for your kind words and appreciation. I am pleased you liked the stories. I wondered how they would come across after the intensity of 'without a Trace' and '2 low 4 zero'.
As to whether there will be more from the Sheffield branch? 'The Tourist' first posted at a bad time in my life and the work of final edits and other things leading up to posting helped to keep me focused. I started work on 'The Seagull' as something cathartic soon after But it turned into a background project as I had trouble filling in the linking sections. Then the idea for 'Seagull 2' came along, so all in all the pair took over a year to write. There are some free ends to hang more stories and I have some germs of ideas. So while there maybe more just don't hold your breath.

It is kind of amazing, when you think about it. The real Sanitaria Springs has some neat history, but there isn't much there, today. But in our universe there are tons of interesting people with stories to tell—stories that now span across the pond.
Yep, pretty amazing.
