I am glad to see this story take its proper place in the second position of the Sanitaria Springs stories, right after Sanitaria Springs itself. Did that just happen today?

The stories prior to Meet the Parents are kind of interchangeable on the time line as they don't really mention one another and only reference Alec and Co in passing.

Mentions are different than, say, setting a scene somewhere that wasn't introduced - and even then, it isn't critical. Sometimes a place gets expanded in later chapters. Events, though, those can complicate things and for that reason they are more or less interchangeable as far as when they show up. Later stories that build on each other, aren't so much.
