What a story! Good work, Israfil, or should I say, good suspenseful layering of work? Now we want more!
The images at the beginning sucked me in quickly, combining architecture, dragon, and fiery circle. It was good to see Sasha with college friends who were not Kale and Chase, and not connected with Alec originally. And at the table introduction scene, shouldn't Logan's last name been Whitmore instead of Whittemore? It appears to be Whitmore elsewhere in the Sanitaria Springs stories.
Great work, Israfil. I look forward to more of the Ellesier saga.

I noticed the Whittemore too. Still doesn't detract from the story. Not everything is peas and carrots there.

My bad on the spelling there. I'm glad you enjoyed it I've always liked Sasha and was happy to have the chance to explore his college friendships.

Defiantly a two parter at least. You opened up a new can of worms with that last bit.

Indeed. Well, at least now you know why Richard and Geoff never say anything nice about their parents

Taken literally, Geoff and Richard are both murderers, then, and Jon is simply a victim of circumstances. Role models they aren't, for sure.

It's a mix of parental and fraternal, with a dash of something else thrown in but I'll just work to finish "Always" and let that make my case for me However if readers are unsettled by them, well, I've done my job. Wait till their uncle shows up - he has good reason to hate them . PS Not split hairs but technically Jon's living off them rather than the other way around haha. Also, the deed was done for his welfare too (at least in Richard's minds).
