Weightless The date was great. Dad was the inquisitor for a bit. Who else wanted to strangle Zane's dad? With him, everything seems passe and not worth his time.

I have to agree with you on everything except Zane's father treating the little sister as special. Cynus, you have another winner. So what surprises are in store? I can think of several possibilities, some of which are less or more likely than others. Any chance of having Clint's father being a distant relative of Doug and Ted Kutsenko, from Sanitaria Springs?

Once again Cynus comes thru, with a great Chapter Two.
Great descriptions of the swimming, drying, and dressing sequences.
Also, Samuel, I look forward to seeing how Angela and Travis, as well as Clint, will fit into this story.
As usual, great chapter!

It is a very good story, I agree. I'm a few chapters ahead and I just love these characters!

Clint represents my inner child, and Zane represents a whole different side of me. I'd say he represents my spirituality, in a sense, while still retaining some of that teenage quality to him. It was easy to write that scene in particular, simply because I feel much the same way as he does about embracing the water. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Chapter 2 raises the bar, a lot! I'm enjoying the story and wonder where it's going. I have an uneasy feeling about chapter 3. I suspect Zane's dad is not as "Un Caring" as he appears. It seems obvious that he cares about the externals. As long as Zane is complient and doesn't attract too much attention he ignores him. What will happen when Zane shows this new side of himself? John

Chapter seven To misquote Laurel and Hardy -That's another fine mess you've got yourself into, Zane!
Dang! we shall have to wait until next week to find out how Zane deals with it.

Oh Zane what have you done?! This is what happens when you bottle things up I'm afraid, I suspect this is an unfortunate personality flaw inherited from the sperm doner married to his Mother. Clint is a good guy so I reckon he may forgive Zane although I'm having my doubts as to whether the two of them are compatible after all (hope I'm wrong as I like them both) Anxiously awaiting the next installment. Great story, thank you Samuel 😊

Wow, what a chapter on so many levels. Samuel, this chapter (8) reminded me of Return With Honor in many ways, but it would take too long to explain at this time.
It also reminded me of how frustrated we can be sometimes. I loved how Zane reacted so fiercely to Stan after Stan provoked him. And where was Angie? Did she make it to the party? Did Brent and Donnie attend?
Wow wow wow, Samuel-- Dave was right when he said it keeps getting better.

Whew that reconciliation went slightly more smoothly than I feared it would, I just hope Zane learns that he needs to stop bottling things up in future. He has a supportive boyfriend and even a straight friend who will take a shower with him (why did that never happen to me!) I wasn't sure I could hate his sperm doner with any more volition, alas I was wrong , what an absolute dick that man is. I can't work out if he resents Zane for his not being able to live his life vicariously through him or if there is something else in play?? Maybe Zane is the result of an affair - that would explain (not excuse) some of his behaviour. Regardless of what it is , an absolute dick is what he most certainly remains, he needs his attitudes (and his face!) seriously reconfiguring! Great story I'm still loving it so thank you Samuel 😃

It makes sense now that Clint might have dyscalculia. (For the definitions, see: www.dictionary.com/browse/dyscalculia?s=t and scroll down, there are at least two related definitions). The pool scenes were great. The whole chapter was really good.

Dyscalculia, yeah that fits- I think if I were Clint id be kinda relieved to be able to find a reason for my maths issues, at least he knows he ain't just a dummy! The whole chapter was really sweet , how thoughtful is Clint?! Another bonus for me is no Zane's father, and that's a massive bonus especially in regard to my anger issues! Lets hope he's had a nasty accident 'off screen' Excellent work as always - Thank You Samuel
