Great to catch up with these guys again, they are certainly a complex bunch! Richard and Geoff don't make it very easy to love them , although I have a degree of respect for Richard in the way he defends his family. In fact they all seem to have a lot of loyalty towards each other, a kinda fucked up sense of loyalty but its there none the less! Now Jon , however, I find very likeable even his faux pas with Jake was kinda done with the best intentions ( I think ) I'm guessing as he is the youngest of the 3 brothers he may be the least affected by their waste of space parents, I like him anyway!! Thanks for allowing us another glimpse into this families tumultuous lives , waiting with baited breath , for more x

This is really very accomplished narrative style and execution, a pleasure to read, especially in online writing, but that's just a side observation, not a qualification. It's good writing, period.

Thanks guys! ^_^ Paul - thank you, that means a lot! I'm still learning though and always will be . However I've lately started taking my writing a great deal more seriously Simon - Jon is certainly the easiest to like but he's got his flaws too. He has mostly good intentions but Jake does bring out a better side of him. You're spot on about the loyalty and I'm glad that shows through - even if it doesn't always manifest itself in the best ways. I'm glad they've made an impression on you!

Israfil, thank you for another glimpse into the darkness. I hope that there is much more to come, especially now that you have opened (yet) another front with Uncle Michael and Jeremy. Perhaps a wholesale deal on anger management courses wouldn't go amiss either!

Ok - is this like the dark side of Sanitaria Springs? It certainly is well written, I am holding my breath as to which new revelations will come from this family.

Don't worry - there can be no dark without light. In fact, darkness makes light shine all the brighter. Of course...the opposite holds true as well.

Was great , as always , to catch up with Alec although I must confess the different time period that thus storyline arc is in confused me for a minute. Loved Alec's frustration at not being able to hang with Kale and Chase and his comment about he and Sasha not even considering starting a family yet - priceless given what we know is yet to come! Bet you enjoyed putting that in , made me smile anyway 😊 Thanks again x

Yeah, I knew it could potentially confuse people but I was hoping there was enough context to clarify it took place before "Little Bit". "House of Memories" is set in the summer and I believe "Little Bit" begins the following winter. I am holding my breath as to which new revelations will come from this family. Though of course you're going to learn more about the Ellesiers, in terms of heavy revelations we might be set for a little while. Remember, the brothers are trying to rebuild their lives so they'll be desperate for a bit of normalcy, I suspect. However, that will come with its own drama...

Was considering making a new topic about this but - what were everyone's thoughts on the "coming out" scene? Was Vergil's anger justified? Did Damien and Geoff owe him the truth and did they do the right thing in letting him go?
How did you come out to your close friends or have them find out? How did they react and why?
I've always been of the school of thought that you owe no info about yourself until your ready and any reactions from others are usually because of the feelings they bring to it. The Geoff school, if you will.

I've always been of the school of thought that you owe no info about yourself until your ready and any reactions from others are usually because of the feelings they bring to it. The Geoff school, if you will. I don't think Vergil's anger was justified. However, sometimes we totally guess wrongly about reactions others might have. I have only "come out" as bi to a few people. My best friend from childhood reacted very well. One friend from a former job reacted well on the surface, but became more and more distant over the next several weeks, and now appears to be a "fundamentalist." He and I rarely talk anymore. The few others that know have reacted mostly politely, but only a couple of them seemed to have any sort of understanding. I am not out at my present job. The main owner is quite homophobic. The secondary owner is not, but is outvoted by the majority owner, so keeps her mouth shut.

You'll always be #1 in my book. As far as I know, I'm out, I think. It was a concern to nobody. May not be their cup of tea but they never voiced concern.
