Heck, if a person isn't willing to submit their work to constructive criticism they'd probably better not be submitting it in the first place, don'tcha think? I would think so. But people have many different motives for writing. Some, like the authors of the never-ending stories that frustrate you and me, I think just see something in the distance that they really like and feel compelled to drive the rest of us there. And a lot like childhood Sunday afternoon drives with my parents, you see some interesting sights but arrive home wondering about the point of the trip. Perhaps those authors really have no idea what is their objective, beyond that first interesting sight in the distance. So, as George Harrison observed, 'if you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there'. But that doesn't prevent the passengers in the back seat from wondering about why you are driving by the same sight for the third time, where the trip is going, how long it will take, and what will be there in the end. As I said in a previous post, while the author does almost all the work, the reader is an equally important part of the process. If he or she isn't satisfied, they probably aren't getting into the back of the car again, making future journeys pretty lonely for the driver. And that seems like something of which a motivated author should be aware.

The story, "Parasitic Love," is now up to 22 chapters and 283,570 Words. I peak in from time to time, but do not read regularly.
SPOILER ALERT BELOW
It is interesting in a recent chapter that the guy, M, is pregnant, and the father denies being the father.

All of the author's stories on GA have been taken down, evidently by the author. No explanation has been given, as far as I can tell. The author, Mastershakeme, was still listed as being a GA author, but with no stories listed for her instead of several.

The latest chapter of Parasitic Love has been posted on GA and she is back writing that story.
