Yep, that's the ones! Ryan talked about fielding a dabeagle.com team. Not my favorite of his ideas...

Now THAT is an interesting idea! You, Cynus, Ryan, and Lugnutz as a Rickshaw team! Unfortunately, someone else would now have to stand in for Ryan....

WI have lived in India for the last nearly 20 years - good story and great fun but a terrible understanding of both geography and distance! I don't know if it is regular but once fairly recently, certainly within the last decade, the run started down here in Kerala. I think before you can partake you have to have your brain surgically removed!

I don't know if it is regular but once fairly recently, certainly within the last decade, the run started down here in Kerala. I think before you can partake you have to have your brain surgically removed! There is a quote that goes something like 'never let the truth stand in the way of a good story'. While I do try to research things I think, unless you have experience as you do, most folks wouldn't catch that artistic license. I'm not sure where Ryan got his information or if he skimmed a few sites and winged it from there; we'll never know. I would have put Lug and Ryan in the same one just to watch them fight from afar ;-)

I am so glad they made new cushions in Shillong, rickshaws can be horribly uncomfortable! With a 175cc 2-stroke engine they are not exactly fast either. The modern diesel ones are marginally better.
Great series of stories, I reread them regularly..
