We are still dealing with the issues but are getting closer to the end. The agency wanted some sort of test to be sure our youngest hadn't 'been touched'. They were less than pleased to discover no such test exists. As professionals you'd think they'd have more knowledge. However the state of VT did let us know that they will submit the packet for a court date as soon as the letter from our agency states they back his placement and that should come any moment now. The group my oldest was set to participate in and that I have removed him from included someone with legal trouble and one with a mental shortcoming. Both were engaged in inappropriate older to younger contact. That's sort of the idea of where we are and now we just want to get through the adoption so we can drop the whole mess in the bin.
On a brighter note, Picket Fences is back from editing and as soon as I apply the edits we will start posting, perhaps broken into two or three pieces as it's quite the monster on its own. Added into that I can also report I and my family had the pleasure of meeting Israfil yesterday. He's single and educated, so go get him.
