Stumbled on this Netflix series yesterday. Googled it and got this link;
"Paul Hollywood's Big Continental Road Trip" - Germany at
I've never heard of this guy but his Road Trip series is "tongue in cheek" and I enjoyed it. It appears to me he won some British baking contest and went on from there.
In this episode he gets to drive a Kombi and camp in it among other things.
The people he interacts with in each country are interesting and not stuffed shirts. The cars vary from Trabis, 3 wheel delivery van scooters, on up to Veyrons, and Paganies.
The German trip incuded a Mercedes 600 Limo he got to drive around with a comedian. The comedian was 6' 7" his comments from the back seat were were humorous.
Anyway I thought I'd pass it on.
Happy Merry season of non-denominational winter festivities to all who read this.

Paul Hollywood is in fact a fairly seasoned presenter most notably of 'The Great British Bake off'- it's a very popular show over here ( it's lost on me though tbh) garnering upwards of 10million viewers on occasion. He's kinda renowned for being a bit of a likeable rogue , extra marital proclivities and the like- but your synopsis does ring fairly true to be fair 😆
