Another excellent story you have crafted for us. I have no problems telling you that at times, I laughed and I cried - and two times I did both at the SAME time! I don't know where you get the ideas for these stories, but I am so deeply grateful that you are sharing them with us. This one in particular had a profound effect on me and dredged up stuff I thought I had dealt with long ago. I am going to let this percolate in the nether regions of my brain for a bit. Eventually I expect to reread this one again because there was so much in here to take in I am sure that there is stuff I missed on the first pass. Rest assured I will be contemplating this story for quite some time to come.

Honestly, Lucien's interaction with Micah after his shirt was torn off and his scars were revealed made me love him all the more. His words about everyone having scars, just some are on the inside were moving and so typical of him. He's one of my favorite characters. Thanks for another great addition. Lucien will probably make a great dad like Alec some day. After seeing Lucien in this story, maybe he should consider becoming a counsellor for kids. I really like Micah's internal story and growing awareness. He seems strongly empathic and doesn't judge anyone. I had sort of expected more drama with Linc. Maybe even something close to a panic attack, but he seemed to handle it well. It's good to see that Sasha and Alec really are his safe place and he trusts that he can always go to them. Hopefully he doesn't grow out of that trust any time soon. I loved the excitement and acceptance from both Sean and Jamie, too. They were genuinely ecstatic to have Micah as a summer buddy and include him in everything. Jamie also has really grown up too, as shown by how he twice helped comfort and calm Micah without thinking twice about it. And if the picture for this story is a real conceptualization of Micah, I think Robin actually needs to be more jealous of Micah's body!

I don't know if parenthood is in the cards for Lucien and Robin. They may just be great Guncles since not everyone has kids, nor wants to. I don't know that he doesn't judge, but it didn't occur to him with Carlo. He was more curious. I liked Jamie, as well, adhering to the request Alec had made of him. It also sends him further along the development arc I believe Ryan had wanted for him. As for that last, I don't think Robin has anything to worry about lol.

Another awesome story. If anything these stories seem to be great lessons for all of us in staying engaged in spite of our fears and having the courage to be vulnerable in appropriate situations. Love this one a lot.
