Sometimes I write to you, an email, or send you something. There is seldom any immediate reply, often no reply at all. Of course you are not the only author who does not reply, neither are you the only website owner who fails to reply. Perhaps you are inundated with mail and simply too busy, but I have to say that I find it disappointing. Not you alone, but all those authors out there who simply don't reply. Not only disappointing, but in a way damaging, for the reason, that any site hosting free online gay literature seems forever to be pleading with readers to respond to their authors as the only recompense an author might receive. I'm only pointing out the situation, I my own opinion there is a certain obligation, almost a duty, to reply, although, increasingly I am becoming just as laissez faire about the whole online publishing thing as are some of the veteran authors. I wonder what you think (if it's worthy of a reply... lol)?

William, you have free access to a great website, then publicly moan about tardiness and lack of response. Blimey.
Try writing to Stephen King and see how fast he gets back to you.

William, I don't know of any pending reply to make to you; it's not intentional. I know we have communicated several times, especially with respect to hosting some of your work. While I do plead having at least as busy a life as anyone else, I'm not in the habit of ignoring emails. I'm not sure while email you're using - I know one person recently told me his email was rejected by one of my addresses - but you can use dabeagle at dabeagle dot com or dabeagle at hotmail dot com as good ways to reach me. Of course, the board will get my attention as well.
And, with respect, the reason I ask for feedback is because I've created and shared it. I think the reader, then, has some imperative to not just take without comment, especially if comment is asked for. It doesn't have to be a dissertation. I usually, at least, thank them for sending me a note. If I don't see it, I can't. If I screwed up and your message slipped through the cracks, mea culpa and I'm sorry you feel that way.

I have always gotten a response anytime i have sent Dave a message or commented on a post. Maybe you are overlooking his responses. They may be going into the wrong folder in your e-mail or something. I do agree with Nick also.

I apologise for this being public, I simply had no other way to point this out. I wrote you, the last time, 21 July, to the address you just gave. My SPAM holds emails for 30 days, I checked it. You can delete this thread, it was not my intention to antagonize people, it doesn't matter, probably not that important.
