The most recent things I found were at storiesbydriver.net and it says on the home page that the most recent update was November 28, 2020.

If anyone wants to click that - for me I had to remove the trailing forward slash (/) to get the page to load. I checked the Tales From the Quarry page to see what was there since it was brought up here, but my - the page layout is overwhelming to my senses. Beautiful image, but the repetition made it hard to see the links.

Yeah, the link is actually: www.storiesbydriver.netI did notice when I copied the link here that it added the hypertext prefix and the forward slash, so I'd imagine that had a lot to do with it.

That's probably true. I don't know if this is the reason why - and I could be incorrectly remembering these things - but Driver originally posted these stories with me before leaving the net for a while and asking for things to be removed. Many years later I approached him about reposting the stories and he agreed - so they may be the original files. I don't know if he made a decision at CRV that some stories weren't necessary - I haven't looked there and I'm not in contact with the site owner. Just a possibility. If I recall, it seemed there were a number of authors harassing him forums and via e-mail over the original rendition of "Sudden Storm"/"Jack In The Box". The harassment was such that he went offline for quite some time. I was proof-reading for him when that occurred and I think that's when he pulled everything from the net as he was quite troubled over it. I have managed to contact him from time to time since, though my efforts are a bit sporadic, to be generous.

It was Driver.

I had to edit the link in my post above SIX times before it posted correctly in the edited version. One of the peculiar things which happen in net life, I guess.
