A new story from a different point of view. As a bonus, Sal's mom has MS. An extra bonus for me I think. Sal's grandfather is a hoot. Here it is

Dave, a good story. I enjoyed the relationship Zap has with his grandfather. In some ways it reminded me of my son's relationship with my father. They would fish together, go for rides in Grandpa's pickup, talk things over, and so on. "Grandpa Bob" died when my son was ten. I also liked the proposal, and wondered if, in a future story, the guys might have a ceremony performed by Judge Kirkwood?
The depth of love and consideration Zap and his grandfather have for each other shines through the story, as does the love Zap and the Grandfather have for Travis.
I really enjoyed this story.

Another story that leaves me with a very warm, even nostalgic feeling. Grandfather reminds me a lot of my own Grandfather. I never knew or met him till I was 14 when we chances to find him fishing off of a bridge in Lakehead, California, on Shasta Lake. My mom recognized him as we crossed the bridge and called out in surprise, "There's Dad!." He demonstrated to me in his own, humorous way that it was okay to be a sexual person and to desire being sexual with someone else. He never knew I liked boys but I don't think it would have mattered to him if he did know.
