I appreciate that perspective, baddius. I think it's true. There is a tendency for all of us to live in a bubble if we allow it. Someone once said to me that we'd give far less attention to worry over what other people think of us if we'd only realize how little time they actually spend doing so. Wise words in most cases, I think. While relationships are very important and we need to be as genuine is we can in this world while doing so safely, obsessing over what others think of us verges into narcism quite easily.

I'm sorry the story didn't meet your expectations, better luck next time.
It's not that it didn't meet my expectations, it was a great story. Jerry had the luxury of a great, open and supportive family and friends that I would have loved to have, not to mention probably the most completely understanding boyfriend possible. I just wanted to know the other characters so much better. Especially Zach. Sounds like he'd be the best best friend ever.

I admit I never understood that concept. I was thinking of it when I wrote that scene, but it really looks like it was cobbled together from spare body panels.
