Social Intercourse tells the tale of two very different guys - one who is more stereotypical in so many ways (Golden Girls, kind of sassy, unable to 'hide') and one who is a jock, local hero type. They run in very separate circles until the parents bring them together in the form of dating each other. They plot to get their parents back with their original partners, and along the way learn a lot about each other and who they want to be.
The story is funny and poignant and I think you should all have a copy.
