Oh. My. God.
I loved this book. It's goddamn funny for starters, even though a couple things didn't make sense outside of its original British English. This takes the fake relationship trope and stretches it into the funniest thing I've read in ages - I literally did laugh out loud several times. The book is set in London - ish. The main character is a child of faded celebrity musicians and works as a charity fundraiser for dung beetles and the fake boyfriend is an uptight barrister (lawyer) whose parents are - well, I won't spoil it. It was an excellent read from start to finish and even though you knew certain plot elements were going to pop up, they were done really, really damn well.
I really loved this book. Get it for yourself, you can't have my copy.
