So A Life Lived has posted it's final chapter at my site and you may be sitting home with a nice hot cup of tea and wondering why I have nothing for you to read. First you should know, Bensiamin - hosted here - will begin posting a follow on story to ALL starting tomorrow that is from Bailey's point of view! Second I have a new Ourobouros Inc story for you, but I'd like to pair it with something else so I've held onto it. I'm also about 40 pages into my next serial, The Faces of Kai, but so far it seems like it may be one of my longer ones so no guarantees on that (I know, there never are). In the meantime, over on GA there has been speculation about Casey Repecki from ALL - how do the readers feel about a short centered around him? Is there anything else you're waiting for me to write about? I'm all ears!

"We're also in the interview process for a new worker. I hope to get you with him a few visits from now." Thought this might have been a segue to bring a newly graduated Alec into "A Life Lived", but that wasn't where you took that story.

No, it hadn't crossed my mind actually!

It crossed my mind. But I don't think a story about Alex dealing with kids in need would have been very uplifting or happy story. As much of a tearjerker as A Life Lived was, I really liked it and the ending was sad but realistic and well done.
I am pleased that Bensiamin is carrying on with Bailey. And I like the 2 chapters that are online now.
A short about Casey Repecki might be interesting. I'd be interested in knowing if his father ever told him about Colin or his relationship with him. It doesn't seem like Casey got much more mention after the disappearance bit. So, I'm not all that keen on reading about him.
Now, if Isaac or Micah got more story time, I'd be excited about that.
Who is Kai? Dave you are such a tease.

I feel you did a lot of work developing Casey as a character, and left it intriguingly open-ended about why Casey asked Colin about why he and Brian stopped being friends.
There's the obvious, Casey was assessing how a coming-out conversation would go with Brian.
Or working out whether he's likely to have a coming-out conversation with Brian and that's why his mother split?
Casey was with a nice girl at the pool when Bailey showed up, but that might just have been a friend/ teammate, not a girlfriend.
But it's also entirely open that Casey isn't gay, but is modern and doesn't want to think of his Dad as a homophobe, or bigot, or friend-dumper.
So a Casey short would be great!
I guess a lot of Life Lived is set about a decade ago? And Bensiamin's story is current? So Bailey was at UBingo more or less while Alec et al are at UAlbany/RPI?
So Casey might actually be a little older than Alec and Sasha?

Bensiamin's story establishes Auburn as the town where Bailey and Colin were from, so not all that close to SS. At this point I don't have this as part of the SS universe - unless I made a mental error and put something in there to make that connection.

It was clean of SS references as far as I noticed, but the feel is sort of there. I'm keen to see what Bensiamin does with it. There's a bunch of ways he could crossover or do a cameo (Hal Fremont could show up to sell them some Cirrus, or Annabelle could have a run-in with Phil Esmore). Or Bailey can carry on his own way.
