Wayward Son is an older story (but one of your best) so maybe this has been discussed before, but I recently reread the story (for the gazillionth time) and can't help shaking the image of Monty Woolley as Woolcott. Maybe its the similar name, but when I read the story my mind imprints the image of Monty onto everything about Woolcott, from the physical appearance, to a snooty British accent, to his trademark snide comments and inuendo.
Any truth there or am I imagining things?

I had no particular person in mind when writing the character, though reading is a subjective experience and if that actor helps bring Woolcott to life...enjoy it :-)
