I saw this online today and thought, HOLY CRAP! It's almost exactly how I picture the Kirkwood home when I write an SS story. The Kirkwood Home

Not exactly what I pictured, kind of grandiose.

I can see this as the Kirkwood's home. It's maybe a little bigger than I pictured, but definitely fits my perception of the Kirkwood's.
I always wonder how folks who live in these older places manage without closets. We, as in people today, have a lot of "stuff." I would find it impossible to live somewhere where I only had free standing storage units.

They remodel, add closets. At least that's what my parents did with their house.

Actually, much of this is similar to what I had pictured in my mind after reading Jamie's Buddy and Linc. But does that house have a basement?

So big it took too long to load on my computer, ha-ha. I could see that as an almost perfect fit... It is a bit rambling, though.
