Bloom by Kevin Panetta and Savanna Ganucheau

Bloom is the story if Ari and Hector. Ari's family owns a bakery and the father wants his son to inherit the company and carry on their traditions. Ari, though, wants to write music and leave for the big city to make it big with his friends in the band. Ari sort of interprets one of his father's responses in this disagreement to mean they just need someone there to work, if it's not Ari. So Ari hires Hector. Sparks fly in several directions between a lot of people. This book is also a graphic novel, so it reads a bit like a comic book, but the colors are all in a blue/green hue. The book was enjoyable, but I wasn't a big fan of the ending.
