If I'm not mistaken I'll find out in a minute I think this is my first post here as far as I know no one has started a thread yet on this story so I'll go ahead and try.Although I'm new to the forum but I have been reading Dave for quite awhile now and he might recognize me from another site.Obviously what we have here is another classic Debeagle story for me any story with Sean and Asher in it I'm going to love but I would have loved this story regardless.Out of all the great little brother characters you created Tim is by far the best one.
A few quick questions if you don't mind.Is this the first time you had characters from a non SS story crossover into the SS world I refer to Garrett who was only mentioned in C&K but also Zack.I also wonder if you wrote a scene in the story Tempered with this story in mind. In Tempered you had scene where Sean and Boomer crossed paths in a burger place and they had a nice heart to heart. Before then most of Boomer's interaction has been with Jamie but now that they had a falling out It seemed like it needed to be established that Sean and Boomer are also close. In that conversation Boomer called Sean his favorite twin and he also spoke well of Asher before then I don't even think he's ever mentioned his name. That makes me think you wrote that because you wanted it make sense that Sean and Asher would be hanging out Boomer while he is pursuing Garrett.Am I close?
Thank you for another awesome story and wishing you continued progress in your recovery

I'm currently reading this. Does this one between Sanitaria and Bigomton? The soccer bussing leads to ask. One of the outlying areas? I'll read this a few times before it takes hold.

Padrepower - they certainly have it this year! Very exciting, I even bought a new hat and everything.
I have had other characters cross over and tie into the SS universe - however they come from older stories, frequently, and you may not catch them right away. I think of them as little treats for long-time readers who suddenly see someone we haven't talked to in a long time.
As to the relationship between Boomer and Sean - don't forget that Boomer originally met the near-twins together at camp. There have been scenes in the park where he talks to both of them and he's flirted/teased with Sean before. Boomer will be well aware of Asher, and as an ensemble work there are sometimes interactions 'off screen' that wouldn't necessarily show up as part of a story. I do like to check in on other characters and that's why SS episodes tend to run long - there is more than one arc, frequently, being told at a time.
Thanks for the well-wishes. It's' been a crappy summer overall - I got rear-ended a few weeks ago and am getting headaches off and on. To top it off it was a hit and run.
My next story is also SS adjacent, much as A Perfect Confluence of Events was. Due to that we'll see some of the ensemble is passing, but they won't be the focus of the story. In fact, eagle-eyed viewers may spot other characters who are new to the universe that they met before.
Thanks for reading - Go Padres!

Excellent story, as usual, Dave. It has always puzzled me as to how people can become so enamored with specfic fragments of their religion and the interpretations served up to them by their spiritual leaders that they completely abandon the core tenets of said religion and follow those charlatans to the ends of the earth, no matter what logic or common sense may say. All evidence to show that are wrong or, at the very least, misinterpreting things is tossed aside as fabricated by "the enemy," whoever that may be. They take their distortion of reality and force it upon everyone they meet and anyone who doesn't conform to their fanatical standards is written out of their story.
It actually hurts me to think that people can be so ignorant and hateful of others. The whole shtick about Pastor providing directions, so his congregation didn't have to think for themselves or worry about whether the orders from Das Führer were morally right especially rings true. We've seen it happen with fanatical groups in the past and we all know it happens now.
Hopefully, there were signs, at the end, that the father is turning around and reevaluating his point of view.
