I guess I've been a bit remiss. As far as the knee replacement is concerned it seems all my neighbors are jealous as I'm moving better than I ever have since moving here and I can almost keep up when my Min Pin goes into "possessed demon" attack mode. Rehab went quickly and without a hitch once I got going on it. Unfortunately, the day after I was released I tested positive for COVID and was down for a couple of weeks after that. While I had my yard work hired out this summer, we've been in drought status for a couple of months now and hadn't had to concern myself with it. A month or so ago I decided to try to sealcoat my driveway (about 3,300 sq. ft.) and that went well enough that I then decided to refloor my deck. Fall has arrived and I'm now busy riding around on my John Deere with a bagger cleaning up the fallen leaves. Every time I climb on it I keep getting the image of Roseanne and her 'domestic goddess' HBO special. Over the weekend I noticed my sweet gum trees have lost their leaves and in this evening's twilight I almonst decided there were still quite a lot left to fall. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be the dreaded 'gumballs', those spikey little bastards that hurt like hell when you step on them, barefooted or not. I can't recall those trees ever being so prolific. Oh well, at least the critters will be well fed. It's just cleaning the yard of them is not a little job. Oh the joys of home ownership.
Glad your recovery is going well.
