Several months ago I wrote about this story as I'd found it on Nifty. I am always pleased to find good stories there and it pleased me that Ryan decided to share this here as well. The story concerns two boys from different worlds who are presented with opportunities when asked to spend the summer together at a large estate knows as Summer's End. It is an interesting imagining of life in an upper crust style family and how little that matters when two hearts collide. I hope you enjoy it! You can find it here and I hope you don't forget to reach out to the author with your comments, either in email or here on the board.

I read this as it was getting posted on AD, and just like all his other stories Ryan triumphed with this. 0nce in awhile you find that story that sucks you in and leaves you wanting more and this is a prime example.

I just finished rereading this tale. Again. Ryan was good writer, an excellent writer with remarkable talent and passion. This story exemplifies all of those qualities and more, plus it's a beautiful love story. He left an empty place when he left us. Wherever you are, Ryan, thanks, and keep telling you stories. I'm sure there are others with you who will appreciate them :-)

This was one of the best love stories I've ever read. Sweet, romantic and so well written. At the end of it there was tears in my eyes.
