We just got in, and it was very successful! We found a child we both liked and who liked us a lot. Now it's a matter of the states talking to each other - there is something called an interstate compact that allows the child to be fostered in another state. I'm sending the worker all our info tonight and then marching up to our agency office Monday morning.
The night before we also did some shopping at the famous 9th street market and had a wonderful dinner.
But I have to say - we're so excited!
