I haven't seen a thread for this story and, I think it deserves one.
This story is one that crosses over from being entertaining to socially relevant and manages to do it without appearing to be a sermon.
Domestic violence is a problem in all sorts of relationships. It is often not spoken of, addressed or even acknowledged. The denial is even greater and deeper when it occurs in the GLBT community.
It broke my heart when the protagonist of the story described himself as a "chew-toy for a Doberman".

Yes, Griffin's story is a tough one but I think you'll agree he found his inner strength. I love this character, I plan for him to be a regular part of the group and good things are in store for him.
