The story Along Came a Spider by Colin Kelly has been added to the hosted Sanitaria Springs page. It feels good to have almost all of them in one place! And a big thank you to Colin for sending it over and giving hosting permission!

I've read Breaking Masks with pleasure several times over the years. Kody Kingsley is one if your most endearing characters, and though the narrative presents challenges to both him and Jake the overall mood is of a romantic comedy, or better, romantic dramedy. That graphic, though... to be honest, the first thing that popped into my head was slasher horror flick.

That graphic, though... to be honest, the first thing that popped into my head was slasher horror flick. I'd never thought of that, with respect to the image. I guess I should find something to better represent it! Originally, when it was going to be published, we wanted two guys facing the camera, bisected. Breaking Masks was under contract to publish, but then the company went under. Still, it was such a thrill at the time.

I always liked Josh's writing. He doesn't seem to have written anything lately. I check his site from time to time but nothing new appears. Dave, are you still in touch with him? What's he doing these days?

What's he doing these days? Josh is currently getting ready to re-release his Killian Kendall mystery series, adding in the book that also went unpublished with the failing of PD Publishing. You can find him on Facebook, as I've shared his efforts at relaunching the series, and get updates from him directly. I know he also has been involved in the last few years with a Burlesque show and he's an avid Steampunk aficionado.

Upgrading for mobile is taking another lurching step forward. I have a friend, who originally designed the site, and he came over to help with some issues that I can now work on. Some pages aren't going to work well on a mobile phone, for instance, but will be much nicer on a tablet. For instance, the mobile Sanitaria page features eliminated graphics and links moved closer together for faster loading times and better viewing on smaller screens. I have to go through each 'core' page and add in a 'Meta' viewport tag, as well as trying to reduce image sizes and other odds and ends to make the site work better. As I do so, I will also try to get a few more of the older stories upgraded with new home pages and the standardized formatting you may be getting used to. If you find things either in a story or just have suggestions for the site, please let me know!

I hate to intrude but I'm not all that functional when it comes to things like message boards and I am trying to find something that apparently involves you so please excuse me if this is not the appropriate way to connect with you on a matter which has nothing to do with what this particular "line" is all about.
Specifically, I have been reading a number of your stories, starting with some excellent serials from a while back which are posted on Nifty. I happened upon one, like it a lot, search for others you have on Nifty, read through most of them (the longer ones mostly) and continue to find them enjoyable. That experience led me to this website and I have begun reading a few things here (including some of yours that I had not already seen). The point of this longish wind-up is that I stand a good shot of reading another enjoyable story if it has your name attached to it and, just today, I ran across a reference in a story by a pair of authors who mentioned a story you wrote ("Breaking Masks") which they had described as sparking their writing. Try as I might, using my limited knowledge of these things, I have tried to locate a story by you of that name but so far unsuccessfully. Could you please point me to it? I would be especially grateful because apparently you co-authored it with another writer whose work I have also greatly enjoyed ... when and where I can find it.
I don't get back to this site as often as I would like so I would greatly appreciate your replying to me directly to my email address -- avidreaderdan@gmail.com. Thnk you very much.

I'd like to publicly thank Darrell for his help (he did most of the work, really) in getting one of the first stories I ever hosted ready for easy reading. If you haven't read it, give a try with the classic ' Turnabout' by Chris G.

I'd like to publicly thank Darrell for his help (he did most of the work, really) in getting one of the first stories I ever hosted ready for easy reading. If you haven't read it, give a try with the classic ' Turnabout' by Chris G. Is the pastel aqua text on white the intended color scheme? That's how it's displaying for me with Firefox 48.0.2 and the same with Safari iOS on the iPad, and it's extremely difficult to read - an ordeal, in fact. Fortunately the reader functions on both are able to convert it to black on white
