Wow, Ryan, great story!
I have to admit I didn't expect to see Sophie breaking up with THAT person in the first fifteen paragraphs!
And then when Cheese─ er, Colby, came along and rescued Elliot--Great! (I once met a family whose first boy was named Colby; the second was named Cabin, and the third was to be named Cheddar when born. They said they liked the names of cheeses.)
Great story, Ryan.

They said there was, but they had been to a dairy called Log Cabin Dairy, and did not start with "C", so they used Cabin. They wanted all "c" cheese names for the boys.
Ryan, you had to have been there to get the full impact. Hey, some types of cheeses are God's gift to humanity. (Except for the white cheeses I'm allergic to, such as cottage cheese. At least I'm not allergic to Mozzarella or Provolone!)
Colby is a great name, becoming more popular all the time.
Great story, Ryan. I heartily recommend it.

I liked the story too. I was really worried for a bit although I know it would all work out in the end. I've figured out why gay boys aren't bullied in Sanitaria Springs. They outnumber the straight boys. John

Well, they do outnumber the written straight boys. If we go with the idea of ten percent being gay, in a class of a thousand students...

A thousand students? Wow! The Sanitaria Springs in the story must be a small city. I guess I saw it as more of a village with a rural area surrounding it. I knew it was bigger than the actual place (I've looked at the map.) I guess that does open up the possibility for more diversity and more stories. Anyway, I'm enjoying the stories. Keep up the good work.

It's a regional high school. Kids from little towns all around the area end up at Columbia High, it just happens to be in Sanitaria Springs. Right Dave?

So the 10% ratio still makes for like a hundred gay kids... That's still enough to outnumber most of the major sports teams, and some of them are on the teams, anyway.
So, with those numbers, how come I can't just randomly find a guy walking through the woods?

Probably why I can't find anyone either. But nobody wants my baggage.

I was pulling 1000 kids out of thin air as a number, just to say we aren't overwhelming things like some stories where everyone is gay.

John It sort of make sense dont you think John Sanitaria Spring is in effect an anthology of male and male romance stories, so the gay guys would naturally outnumber the straight guys.

Breaking up sucks no matter what gender or orientation the couples are, but as I always say there is always a light at the end of the tunnel and then out of nowhere Colby come on the scene, stripped a guy naked and just about got together with him if it was that easy I would have half the gay guys in my neighborhood wanting a piece of me but great story Ryan and as always if you keep writing I will continue reading.

It may be slightly over-romanticized, that's for sure. If only that was the way it happens... Of course it did mention that Colby is in the GSA, so maybe networks like that play a pretty crucial role, but still it still seemed completely random that he just ran in to Elliot.
