It was completely random and it's not like Colby and Elliot became an instant couple. They shared an experience together and it brought them close, they're on the road to becoming an official couple but nothing is set in stone as of yet.

Maybe that's why I'm single. I should break something and have someone come to my rescue!

I think that randomness often sets up important things in our lives.
I know the career I held for about 35 years came mostly from random chance. I know that one very important relationship came about because I happened to be in the library of my college at one certain time of day. I could give other examples, but you get the proverbial idea.
Some people seem to have more negative stuff happen than positive. I do think that if Elliot and Colby get together for more than a few casual dates, they should both talk more about their potential relationship. The writers in the Sanitaria Springs series have become adept at working such conversations in as situations arise in the stories. Way to go.

Maybe that's why I'm single. I should break something and have someone come to my rescue! Might have something to do with being a ginger. Your kind is under appreciated and I don't understand why. I have a lovely ginger muse who is inspiring an important story I'm planning. See?

I'm just a day-walker, not one of the pure-bloods.
I can actually stand the sun for a short time.
Both my ginger and blond halfs are mostly white now.
HEHEHE- at least I've still got hair at my age!

When young, I wanted a spouse with red hair and green eyes.
I have one, but the red hair came later. She had red highlights when younger; now it is full red, and looks better than it ever did with red highlights in brown hair. People with red hair or reddish-blond have a head start on beauty, in my book.
