The forums have seemed like a ghost town. Anyone seen any good movies lately? I'm looking forward to a new drama that just came out called "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl". I'm hoping it will help me write more convincing emotional scenes.

Not seen much aside from animated movies and Lord of the Rings.

I have to agree that the forums have been rather quiet lately. I have personally had little time to post, because we have been short handed at my part time "retirement" job. I have been working 45-48 hours a week, "part time." Then, with family and sometimes medical issues with family-- the time to put up a post that isn't a total dudsville is limited.
The best recent movie I have seen is the second Avengers movie. (Also the first movie I've had time to see in a theater since last year.) With keeping up with the stories of Dave, Samuel, Ryan here-- David Lee on Nifty, Godia Forit on Nifty, BndgDawg on Tickiestories dot and/or Nifty and/or storycove dot us or some of the authors and stories on IOMfAtS dot org and so on.
I am sure things will liven up on the forum again.

Hmmm. . . Well, I will say that for a horror film, it has my interest.

Cynus, To answer your original general question, I've been on vacation. We just got back on Sunday and I had to rest up from the vacation then I went back at work. (20 hours a week at the computer lab in our local library. Nothing too strenuous and it gets me out of the house.) With my current posting schedule, I'm hoping to hit 51 posts by the first of the year and stop being a newbie. FWIW, The last movie I watched was The Incredibles. It's been a while. I tend to watch fluff when I watch movies. Ryan, I loved Summer's End. It was kind of JFK if he hadn't been careful! I'm waiting for the next instalment of Rickshaw Run. (Tomorrow, I hope) Vacation wears me out!! John

I just loved Thomas though. As for the next installment of The Rickshaw Run, it'll be there Sunday
