I have played around with writing for quite a few years starting when I wrote for my high school's literary magazine back in the 1970's. I wrote a few shorts for Nifty about 15 years ago that were of the "one-handed" variety. I have recently gotten the writing bug again and have tried to do some things with a little more "depth." I just submitted the last thing I wrote to the address on the submissions page.
I'm not sure if I could contribute to the Sanitaria Springs stories as the bar has been set pretty high with what is out there already by Ryan, Dabeagle, Cynus and a few others. I'm not sure if what I could do would measure up, but I would be willing to try. I'll see what Dabeagle thinks about what I sent in yesterday.

Make your own characters and make them yours. I know my contribution is a yawner compared to the others there.

Just to keep folks in the loop - While the timeline had 'Without a Trace' as the next story to post, I realized a reference in that story (minor, some may miss it) refers to an event Ryan was writing/had started/was about to start. Rather than deleting the line or altering the scene to avoid it, I'm trying to write the story. It won't be as long as the other SS stories, but it was an idea that Ryan had wanted to get done, so I'm going to try and do that. Hopefully it'll be up next week.
