Thanks Dabeagle, and thanks guys. I appreciate the warm welcome.
But, I noticed a small issue, well okay, a rather large issue, with the story posting:
You posted a picture of a Vancouver Giants player for the story!!! Harumph! Have you no shame! Anybody but the Giants!
Okay, just kidding. The picture and presentation look great.
But still....

Do you have any idea how hard it is to find pictures of gay hockey players? Holy crap! I finally just went with a cute one - and he's darned cute.

This is one of my favorite GW stories. With all the stinky hockey equipment and players and all. You portray the, er, atmosphere perfectly. My cousin played and would leave his gear in the back of his car. You could smell him pulling away from the curb Anyway it's a great story and I'm happy to see it here too.

But, but, but, he's Canadian... Gee is my buddy. Hey, be careful there... There's probably enough of us here to take over the site.
Henceforth everything posted on the site has to use the metric system and proper English spelling .
Man, I can't say how much of love this story: The way Gee Whillickers develops his characters and the slow, subtle forming of a relationship is almost transcendental. It's feels so real it's almost scary, and it still just has just the right amount of hockey culture and lingo, and Canadian humour in it that it feels all the more real.
Kinds of makes me wish I had had the chance to spend my life on the ice, so I could have met one of these guys out there, too.

Gee Whillickers Holy Smoke! I finally got the chance to read Out of My League and it's great. I agree with everything everyone said, and more. I certainly hope this isn't the last story you're going to post on this site. Thank you very much! John

Gee is one of the few authors that I drop everything for and read whatever he does. He's let me know we'll get some other things - you guys are in for a treat!
