I liked all three stories. In both of the Stories by Samuel/Cynus, we see the origin stories of four of the characters in Ashes of Fate. Cool!
In Bus Boys, I see parallels of Alec's beatings in Sanataria Springs and Griffin's beatings and abuse in Bunny; the loss suffered by Austin in Hamster; Charlie's problems in Preacher's Kid and Lucien's origin in Alec's Best Friend; Seth being thrown through the plate glass door as referenced in Strays and Another Day in Parodyse; the problems with David Mullins in the "Logan and Seth" subset of Sanitaria Springs; Asher's encounter with Edward Mullins in Asher; Derek's problems with his mother in Must Love Books; and more parallels and intertwined action(s)/reaction(s)/relationships in The Space Between, Itty Bitty Besties, Devyn's Song, Muttley, Curious Nate, and Finding Niki. Some of the relationships and parallels are more obvious than others.
Good work, all.
