I was like Ian back in the day when I knew everything. How wrong I was back then when I was a know it all kid. It didn't touch the knowledge I have now. But now I know I don't know it all. Never will. Still a drop in a bucket.

Awesome story. Thanks for writing it. My husband and I are attending our first foster adoption session in the second week of January, so this story really hit me.

That's great, Bill! Having adopted our son from foster care and actively looking for a second while we foster, it's a crazy experience. Good luck with it and feel free to reach out an commiserate with me!

Just reread this one. Great story, like everything you write.
One thing I'll mention, after reading this and remembering Charlie from the SS story, the name Charlie seems to be the kiss of death for one of your characters!
I enjoyed this one again. Thanks,
Steve

Thanks, Steve Not always. Charlie plays a fun role in the Baysville arc and makes an appearance in Breaking Masks.

Do you remember how many chapters there were in the original version of the Baysville stories?

Do you remember how many chapters there were in the original version of the Baysville stories? Hunting though the internet Wayback Machine, it looks like there were 19.
