So I was driving up north with my son the other day and came upon one of my biggest road-rage inducing items - roadwork season. I had two experiences that, stick with me, I think you'd find annoying as well.
First, on the highway, I come upon a mile long stretch of cones and lowered speed limits - with dire warning about double points on your license - and no workers. Two state troopers, but no actual workers. Then, a mile or so after that ended, an actual work site with actual workers, and no state troopers. Hmm.
Then I get up to a double lane road and this fellow is standing there, checking out his phone, and letting the sign show 'Slow'. He sees me coming, starts and looks at the sign, flipping it to stop. No cars are coming the other way. And we sit, and he fiddles with his phone. When I am past the point of wanting to turn the flashlight app on and shove it up his ass far enough that he can use his mouth to shine a light at night, a pickup comes the other way and prforms a very awkward 3 point turn. On the back it says 'Do Not Pass' and the line behind me now proceeds to follow this guy down the other lane. When we get near the end of the roadwork, the driver begins gesticulating out his window for us to change lanes while he engages in another awkward three point turn. I guess we were all too dumb to stay in one lane, as proven by the people whose directions we had to follow.

I was in a traffic jam where we hardly moved for an hour a couple weeks ago. A 20 mile stretch was bottle necked to one lane on the highway. A few of us were going to a pig roast at a friends place on the other side of the state. After that, it was smooth sailing. We had the same road blocks on the return trip but since it was 10 pm, there were no problems.
