Great story, Dave! You have connected this to The Facilitator dabeagle.com/stories/dabeagle/facilitator/facilitator.html and to the Sanitaria Springs Stories, and it is a direct sequel to the first The Right One story found at dabeagle.com/stories/dabeagle/TRO/TRO.html as well. It was great to see Grayson Anderson in this story, though the reason was sad at first. However, some questions appeared in my mind, as I thought about this and some other stories. Some you may not be able to answer without tipping off the future. A) Does The Facilitator (hereafter referred to as TF) and The Right One (TRO) and The Right One: Aftermath (TRO:A) take place in a town somewhat south of the Port Crane/Sanitaria Springs/West Colesville, NY, area? A climate aspect of TF makes me wonder that, and also looking at Google Maps for those three towns in close proximity. B) When does the next TRO story come out? Is Sterling "Boomer" Bennett related somehow to TRO and TRO:A and TF? I had another question but will ask that one when I remember it.

I didn't know this was part of the SS universe until I got half way thru this story. I like this. Hiding in plain sight.

A) They could either be south, because of the late swim in Facilitator or could have had an unseasonably temperate fall. B) I don't know when we'll see them again, but Boomer is related - he and Chris Licardi came from the same Catholic school that closed.

I had to go back and re-read "The Right One". Well, I _had_ to take a quick look at it to jog my memory. Once I glanced at it again I remembered it. It was a great story. So then I re-read it to enjoy it all over again and so it would be fresh in my mind...
The Aftermath is a great story, too, about thinking things through and growing up and... then to realize it has a relationship to Sanitaria Springs... well, I may be a silent reader, but this afternoon I am also a happy reader.
Thank you!

I love Bellamy. He reminds me of one or two dear friends of mine

Follow up: Out is curiousity, was Bell being gay always intended or did it come about in the writing of this story?

It came out in the writing of the story. I toyed with having him just screw with Corby, but the mother played her part too well for it to have been fake.

I went back and read both previous stories before reading this one. Great work once again, Dave. You bring the characters, their experiences, and their emotions to life in a way that I think is uniquely yours.
