“Hmm. Give a man a pie, he’ll have sugar for a day. Teach him to bake and he’ll be at diabetes risk for the rest of his life.”
I found a funny part.

Talk about your ending setup! Okay, Israfil and Dave, when is the next chapter in the Ellesier saga caming out?

Once I have a decent title for it. Oh, and when it's able to be viewed by the general public without my dying of embarrassment.
In truth, I'm kind of regretting leaving the ending as I did. It does read more like a chapter than a short story >_>

I had no problem with the conclusion of "I See Fire" - I knew going in that there was an overall ongoing narrative that I was looking forward to seeing played out in addition to the ones specific to the individual episodes, chapters or whatever you want to call them, plus I'd been thoroughly satisfied in the way this one had developed. So I had no "Oh great, a cliffhanger" feeling. The characters are interesting and the meshing with existing ones is really well done. I had no problem seeing Sasha and Alec as the same people in Dabeagle's stories.

While I might think about various possibilities, I am content to wait and see what Israfil has up the proverbial sleeve besides an arm.

Well, I have to say that the Ellesiers are certainly interesting people to have in Sanitara Springs.
