Once more it's Sanitaria Sunday. This week we pick up after the events of Love and Loss but now we look at things from Crispin's point of view in Charmed. Don't forget tot ell me what you thought!

Thanks for addint his part of the story. Was wondering from the previous story if there was not more to Crispin's character then had been told. Realized that there was some attraction between Crispin and Dylan, but again, there was always the girlfriend, Melanie, so not sure what was going on, and who knew what exactly was going on. Thanks for clearing that all up. Liked the story, and now with another couple to add to the Sanitaria Springs Family, will be interesting to see what happens next. You ahd mentioned in the story about Crispin's parents and how they are conservative, so am wondering if that might be part of the next part of this. Wil be interesting to see if he ends up having to move in with his Uncle, or if the parents finally come to see the light, and all works out well.
Again, thanks for all of the work that you do in not only writing, but hosting this site! Realize it is not stated as much as it maybe should be, and Thank You seems a little weak as a statement of Gratitude, but it is appreciated.
Can't wait to see what the next story holds in the store for us.

Thank you for taking the time out to write in! I'm very glad to hear your thoughts and I think you'll find some of your questions answered in the final part to this three story arc called 'Standing Up'. I haven't decided if that will come next week or the week after as I have a new story from Alec's point of view that is nearly ready to go as well.
Can I say I love how you openly wonder about different directions things could go?

I just finished Charmed. I liked the flow of the story, the insights in to the other characters. My only criticism is a selfish one, the story is too short.
Also, I was surprised by my reaction to the name "Crispin" Crispin Glover annoys me for some reason and it effected my expectations for the character. I am curious why you picked that name. I got past my issue with the name and found that I liked the way you fleshed out that character.
I wonder where you get the names for your characters. Kale, I never knew there was such a thing. Now I see kale at the grocery store and restaurants. I actually tried the prepared kale cranberry walnut salad from the deli. It went well as a side to cheeseburgers.
Much as I look forward to more about Alec and Alec and Sasha, I vote for finish the trilogy you've started, then carry on with lots more of Alec.
Thanks for your efforts, my best to you and yours.
Neal
P.S. Did you happen to see my comment on your "footer" in Site Update 9/20/16?

one of these recently completed stories, while being edited by my long suffering dear editor, Cole Parker, he said to me - and I'll paraphrase the conversation - '19k words? You don't fuck around, do you?' When he returned the edited file he said, 'It seems short'. When I pointed out this inconsistency he replied that there was a great deal of difference in an editors idea of story length and the readers perception. There were some problems with writing Charmed, chief of which being that Crispin lived out of Sanitaria Springs and attends a different school. I couldn't build their relationship through their week at school or by hanging out at each others homes, given they didn't know each other well. So, in a way, it forced me to get to the point while Todd's contrived work lasted.
I read a lot and when I stumble on a name that I like I write it down. It can come from a TV show, a movie or a book, normally. So I write them down and save them for later, when I need a name.
Kale was Ryan's invention and I'd only ever heard of it as the leafy green superfood, and thus began Alec's long legacy of teasing his favorite vegetable.
Both stories are sort of done, just needing their edits applied. Standing Up will likely need more work than Little Bit, but we'll see what I'm thinking by next week. At worst you have to wait for the conclusion in two weeks instead of one.
I did, but I don't recall what it said, now.
