I started this story nearly 15 years ago. I think it was the third story I started and the first I failed to finish - until now. Two readers poked me, one has done it more than once, and it is finally revamped and finished.
One problem I have with redoing old stories is the re-writing and the fact that my stories are in a different place now - both literally and figuratively. For instance, when I wrote LiaNT cell phones weren't quite as ubiquitous as they are now - so I didn't include them in the re-write.
Adam was hard to get back int because he's a little punk - and because the writing is so different when compared to the way I write now. Each chapter was gone through, major plot holes fixed and other inconsistencies - like changing characters names.
So, now, it's done.
Oddly, this week in 1985 saw the chart debut of 'Life in a Northern Town' by Dream Academy, which would reach #7.

Blame Graeme, it's his fault.

OK- I started reading this story at AD and I loved it. I had to hunt it down and read it all.
I fell in love with Randy. The kid was awesome. His best friend was going through the meat grinder and he was there for him like a champion. If there's something I love and value it's loyalty. To me, he is the hero of the story.
I will say no more than the force is strong with you Master Beagle.
Bravo!
