Great Story, especially liked teh part where Nick, Matei, & Nathan met.
A, also curious as to whom the Large & Muscular person waas that was at the Park, and also at the Kirkwood Home while they were swimming & Having Fun. That would not have happened to be Sterling aka Boomer would it? Realize , and am looking forward o there will be additiobal sories to tie this all in, however Enquiring Minds want to know! Thanks for a Great Story and am looking forward to continuing stories in the Saga.

Yes, it was Boomer - and we'll see more of him in the next story, centered around Jamie, called 'Politics' Patreon Patrons should see that by this weekend.

Duh!
I've read "REUNION" more times than I care to admit. I really like it and have used a few tissues on wet eyes while reading it each time. Most of it rang true with the SS Universe and I had little problem figuring out who some people were IE; the Boomer reference. The pool scene with Paul, Cassandra, Everett and Abraham threw me though. An overweight pudgy black boy just didn't register with me.
The Cassandra name seemed familiar, but I couldn't figure out why. So, I skimmed through a bunch of stories to see if I could find Cassandra. Found it. Now the characters (Paul) make sense to me. An interesting character in an interesting story. So, if you want to know why Paul was fully dressed and sweating at the pool you should re-read "The Games We Play" too.
I HOPE SOMETHING GOOD HAPPENS TO YOU TODAY.

That scene had Cynus's blessing. Perhaps one day Carlo will have a place among them.

At the risk of being labelled as anal, please may I ask that comments on stories be made in the relevant sections of the forums. In the case of ‘Reunion’ that would be in the Sanitaria Springs Section.
If comments are in the relevant place it makes it much easier to see that a story has been commented on or to find a comment again when you want to review or refer to it. I would suggest it is particularly appropriate for SS stories, as the series is still being added to and is open to other authors, as well as Dave, and they might find the discussions useful in getting things so their stories ‘fit’.
I know it is easier to make a quick reply to a post than start a new topic but is the latter really that difficult?

This is another great chapter from Dave, and, I think, the first from Niki’s point of view.
Niki comes to understand things about Matei that are hinted at in ‘Romanian Connection’ and ‘Pretending’. Matei also comes to understand how Niki’s life has changed for the better and how things work between Niki and his dads. I thought surprisingly quickly, but teen timescales are different to that of old gits like me!
There are some nice descriptive touches too. I particularly liked the bridge scene on the way to the airport and its image of lab mice being pushed into a maze. Then there is scene in the restrooms on the return journey - schoolboy humour at its finest!
There are hints of more to come in this story arc and I can see Carlo being a lead character in the upcoming cohort. His parents live and work in Binghamton. Will he meet up with Leighton and his group?

Good point. I'll try to remember to lock the thread once I've posted an update to encourage that.

I made myself laugh a little with the reststop restroom scene. It speaks to the 12 year old boy in us all.
