I took a flyer on this after finding out online that it had gay characters. This follows one of my favorite tropes, where enemies fall in love. The story is fun, mixing in some humor and turning some of that 'chosen one' stuff on it's head. The ending left me a little unsatisfied, but there is a sequel and I'll grab that from the library and see if I'm more pleased with how things end up, there.
I do recommend this one.
